PRIVACY POLICY FOR THE APPLICATION
This Privacy Policy contains information about the way in which SONEL S.A. based in Świdnica, ul. Wokulskiego 11 ("PDA" – Personal Data Administrator) collects, processes and uses user data collected during the use of our devices, tools, mobile applications and other electronic products and services provided by the applications, and the way in which the company is committed to protect users' personal data using appropriate technological and legal solutions.
Purpose of personal data processing
Personal data of mobile applications' users is collected, processed and stored by PDA with the consent of the persons concerned, in accordance with the law and following appropriate procedures, and in a way that ensures data safety.
The users, by entrusting their personal data to the Administrator, agree to have it processed in order to ensure proper use of the mobile application. Using the mobile application constitutes acceptance of the terms of this Privacy Policy. Transfer of personal data by a mobile application user is voluntary; however, the lack of such data may make the mobile application user authentication process impossible.
Right to access personal data, correct it and remove
In order to modify or delete personal data, the user should contact directly the Personal Data Administrator (PDA) with a request to access the user's personal data, correct or delete it, by sending an email to: [email protected]
Use of data
The mobile application offers the user a possibility to record measurement data measured by our measuring instruments, and process it for report creation and integration of measured values and other data in the report. The application also allows the user to share measurement data with third parties by e-mail, sms, external hard drive. Any data retrieved from the user's device is only used to generate reports or make them available by means of an informed decision of the application user.
The mobile application automatically collects the so-called system logs (including date and time of the visit, IP address, data concerning the mobile device used, operating system and its version) used for the purpose of administrating the service servers, application debugging, and providing statistics.
Data access
If necessary, our mobile application offers access to the saved contacts. The application allows you to select personal data (names and addresses) from a directory of contacts and inserts them into a report, or uses it in the transfer of measurement data to the user's contact list. The application allows you to access the camera and photo gallery in order to select images (e.g. according to measuring points) from the photo gallery and insert them in the report. It is also possible to use images as an attachment to a set of measurement data provided by the user.
All data/images selected by the user are copied from the storage place on a mobile device or external memory and inserted into the report. Moreover, if necessary, the application allows you to save the data to local memory / SD memory card. It allows you to save selected data (measured values, reports, images, other data). Any application data is only stored locally on the device or SD card, unless the data is knowingly transferred to another device by the user. The device requires access to the microphone in order to perform voice commands or make a voice call or save the data to a voice memo application. The access to the bluetooth module is necessary to handle the events associated with the possibility to transfer data from a measuring device, as well as to other devices.
Location data
In order for our measuring device to communicate with the measuring probe / other devices, it may be necessary to register location data. Therefore, it is necessary to activate the location service on the device. This access to the location data is used to locate measurement data and allows the combination of such data with any images made on the spot. We shall not use the location data for purposes other than linking such information with measurement data.
Services of third parties
In addition to the services provided directly by us, we also use external service providers who follow their own privacy policies. All services of external companies that we apply are used while maintaining complete confidence and we recognize such services as necessary for the proper operation of the mobile application. Safety
The application does not store any personal information that might allow a third party to identify a particular application user; it stores neither data allowing the authentication in the service nor mobile application user data available after logging in. Therefore, it is not possible to make any transactions by a third party in the event of unauthorized access to a registered device.
Right to make changes
PDA reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy by posting the amended version of the Privacy Policy on the system operator's website.
