Description

Safety measurements of electrical installations based on CEA (Measures relating to safety and electric supply) Regulation, 2022 and standards: IS 732, IS 3043, IS/IEC 62305, IEC 61557.

This training will help you understand testing of low voltage electrical installations and requirements of relevant Indian laws and standards.

  1. LEGAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ELECTRICAL SAFETY MEASUREMENTS (CEA REGULATIONS, NEC, INDIAN STANDARDS)
    • Based on Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to safety and electric supply) Regulation, 2022 and standards IS 732, IS 3043, IS/IEC 62305, IEC 61557
    • Requirements for personnel working on electrical installations
    • Requirements for electrical installations
    • Requirements for the measuring equipment
    • Requirements for electrical tests
  2. ELECTRICAL SHOCK PROTECTION (CEA REGULATIONS, NEC, IS732)
    • Types of electrical networks (IS 732)
    • Automatic disconnection of supply - fault loop measurement (IS 732)
